Owens Leads Chargers in Sweep of Kougars to Open Conference Schedule

The Carl Sandburg College volleyball team continued its hot streak by sweeping Kishwaukee 25-11, 25-10, 25-14 on Tuesday night to open its Arrowhead Conference schedule.

The Chargers (6-1) have won their last six matches and haven’t dropped a set during that stretch. Sophomore outside hitter Josalyn Owens (Lincoln) had nine kills, six aces and 13 digs to lead Sandburg in the victory.
